I need my order right away, do you offer Rush or Expedited Shipping?
If it is offered, select Quick Ship or Expedited Shipping at checkout. We only offer Expedited and Quick Ship Shipping within the continental United States. We cannot expedite orders to Alaska, Hawaii, PO Boxes, APO/FPO addresses or US Territories/Islands. Please see more regarding shipping here. We offer may items that you can order today and it will ship the following business day here.

I want a personalized item quickly, what do you recommend for a quick gift?
The more bells and whistles you add to your piece the more production time it takes. Adding stones, blackening or back engraving are extra steps in production, your piece or pieces will spend more time in production. If you want an item quickly, order without the bells and whistles. Items that ship quickly are our engrave only discs, tags and loops but you must select "Quick Ship" at checkout. We do have some pieces in stock and ready to ship, you can find them here.


I live in a US Territory what Shipping Methods do you offer?
Standard, Expedited and Quick Ship Shipping Methods are for the continental United States. For US Territories/Islands, please select International Shipping on your cart as the shipment will go through customs and will need the correct paperwork. Using any other method could cause delays in shipping. Please see more regarding shipping here.

Does POSH use recycled metals?
Absolutely! Luckily much of the jewelry industry is now very “green”, POSH has always used recycled metals and will continue to do so!


How do I take care of my jewelry? What do I do if it tarnishes?
Sterling silver naturally tarnishes when exposed to air and other elements. There are other factors that can cause tarnish as well: some skin types, lotions, exposure to other tarnished jewelry, improper storage, etc. How your jewelry is stored can make a difference in how quickly your jewelry tarnishes. When not being worn, your jewelry should be stored in a closed jewelry box or a plastic bag. It should not be touching other jewelry, especially if the other jewelry is tarnished.


The best solution for tarnish is prevention. To prevent tarnish build-up, you should periodically polish your pendants with a polishing cloth. You can purchase one from our site, under "extras" or purchase from most jewelry supply stores. The blackened letters will not be affected by rubbing with the polishing cloth. Cleaning solutions are not recommended. A small amount of sterling silver polishing cream is okay, if necessary.

Professional cleanings are recommended at least once a year. As of April 2016, most* of our sterling silver is plated with rhodium. Rhodium plating limits tarnishing and prolongs the life of your piece. However, rhodium plated silver and our previously unplated silver will appear different in color. If you are adding to an older POSH piece, please contact us if you have concerns regarding color and matching. If you have an older sterling silver piece and would like to match your newer pieces we offer a Refurbishing Kit, that will restore your jewelry close to its original beauty for a small fee. Contact us to find out if your piece can be refurbished. *exclusions may apply such as Tiny POSH and bePOSH Stackable Rings.

I want to order a specific size Disc or Loop but I am not sure which one, help?
Sizing for each piece is specified in the "Details" tab. We also have photos of the product next to coins along with dimensions and size comparison to other loops and discs. See more sizing information here. We want you to be happy with your piece but we cannot do any exchanges or returns for pieces ordered in the incorrect size. Please read all the information about the product you are purchasing and if you have any questions please reach out to us.

I need to exchange my chain; I bought the wrong length or color. How do I do this?
Chain exchanges have to be authorized by us. Please contact us prior to shipping your chain back to us. We can exchange chains if chain is returned to us by you in a trackable and insured package. A $9.99 shipping fee and price differences for other chains will be charged/credited accordingly. You must provide us with the tracking number of your chain shipping back to us. It is the responsibility of the customer to return the chain for exchange back to us in a timely manner, exchanges outside of 30 days of order ship date are not accepted. We are not responsible for undelivered or lost packages. Fees will be charged at the time of the receipt of your original chain. Please allow 7-10 days for processing and shipping of your new chain.

I purchased a piece a couple years ago and want to order the same piece, will they look the same? 
POSH pieces purchased at various timeframes from our website may slightly differ in appearance. We try our best to stay true to our beginnings, but some changes will happen due to customer feedback, cost, manufacturing process & technology, inventory etc. We are always looking at improving our product to keep costs low and still deliver high quality. If you would like to inquire about matching your older piece, please contact us before placing an order (additional costs may incur). We do not accept returns or exchanges on pieces that do not match to your standards. 


Are POSH Mommy products made in the USA?
Yes, they are! Designed in San Francisco, California and made in Chicago, Illinois. 


What if I do not like the blackening, can I order a piece without it?
Yes, you may, please choose NO FILL. 


My chain just broke what can I do?
As a gift to you will replace a chain at no charge within a 6-month period from time of purchase (exclusively purchased from our website). To prolong the life of your piece please do not sleep, swim, or bathe in your jewelry. Please contact us for instructions on returning your broken chain! Also ask about upgrading to a thicker chain, we recommend our adjustable cable chain.


My chain measures longer than I ordered?
Please contact our customer service and attach a photo of your chain next to a ruler. Please note that our pendant sizes are not included as part of the chain length calculation. When you select a chain length, it is only the chain that will be measured. On split chain items such as monograms, bars, nameplates the chain is split into two but the total measurement for the chain is only the chain (there will be a 9" chain on each side of the pendant for 18" chains, 8" chain on each side of the pendant for 16" chains, etc). We give measurements for all our products, if you want the total length of the piece please add your desired chain length (16", 18", 20", etc) and pendant for the total. 

My Bar Necklace will not lay straight, what do I do?
This is completely normal. Bars, Monograms and various others are "split chain" which means they attach directly on each side of the piece. When a charm is loose on a chain, the charm can slide freely and sometimes the clasp will make its way down to the charm and traditionally you "make a wish" and move it back into place. This is the same scenario for split chains, your entire chain plus attached piece will spin completely because the chain is connected directly to the bar/monogram. This is completely normal and is the style of these pieces. If your piece is spinning, try giving it more or less slack with an adjustable chain. There isn't anything we can do since the spin depends on your daily activity during wear, length you are wearing it, the clothing you are wearing (vneck vs sweater) and your skin type, all of these factors are out of our control.  


My stone fell out what do I do?  
Our stone settings are warrantied for 12 months from the date of purchase for any POSH piece exclusively purchased from our website. Please contact us for instructions on returning your piece for repair or replacement. 

My piece is outside of the 12-month warranty for stones, can it be repaired?
Maybe! We cannot evaluate if it can be repaired without looking at it in person. Sometimes we can tell by pictures so please send in clear pictures of the BACK and FRONT of your piece. We can only replace synthetic stones or diamonds in your piece as they are stronger to reset. Once your return is in house it can be evaluated, and we can provide a quote.


Do you offer discounts?

Can I customize the jewelry anyway I want?
We certainly can try. Please contact a POSH Representative at customerservice@poshmommyjewelry.com or call 877-697-9265 and select the customer service option.


Can I capitalize the first letter of the words I am putting on my jewelry for the posh lowercase font?
We really like to keep our jewelry consistent with its original design for the posh lowercase font.


If I order a Wee Loop with three engravings, can I put two names and a date?
Yes, we have plenty on POSH mommies that have twins and do just that. 

I am ordering Three Discs Necklace, will it come with three boxes, pouches and polishing cloths?
No, if you need additional packaging please purchase each disc separately, purchase additional chains or contact us to purchase additional POSH packaging. For multiples pieces in one product, only one box, polishing cloth and pouch come are mailed. 


Can I add a back engraving after I have already purchased a piece of jewelry?
No, you cannot. Because we are now Rhodium plating our pieces to prevent tarnishing, engravings cannot be added after a piece is plated.

I placed my order, but I have changes. Can I make changes to my order?
We have a particular process workflow and any change that deviates from this could delay your order. Changes may not be able to happen if your order is too far along in production. We can do custom orders outside of our current designs for an additional fee. If you need assistance with placing your order, custom orders or picking a style please contact us prior to ordering.

I want the front and the back to match exactly, can you do that?
Yes and No. Back engraving is a different process and the back may not be aligned or sized exactly like the front, but we can certainly engrave your personalization of your choice on the back of pieces that allow for back engraving. If you wish to include hearts on the back, you must contact us prior to placing the order as this is custom and additional fees may apply.

I want periods instead of dashes for the dates on my Loop, can you do it?
We have particular layouts for our designs for two reasons. Simplicity and layout. We can change your date format on your loop however you will need to let us know prior to placing the order & pay a custom fee. Please note since the engraving is on a curvature, dashes provide a better layout since they are centered and larger than periods. We do not recommend using periods because numbers and periods could be connected, overlap or spaced unevenly. Discs, tags and hearts are smaller and they are along a straight line, we use periods for dates on these pieces.

How do you recommend I type in my date?
Please review the product details carefully for suggestions. Some pieces have particular date formatting i.e. periods and dashes. Depending on the product specifications, character limit and space you may want to shorten the year to two digits and drop any zeros before a single digit month. For example use for the month of May "5" instead of "05" and for years use two digits "12" instead of "2012".

Do you accept returns?
Due to the fact that our personalized pendants are custom made and cannot be re-sold, we do not offer refunds on personalized products. If a return is accepted for store credit or exchange, it may still be subject to a handling and recycling fee. Custom design, rush fees and/or shipping fees are non-refundable.

What do I do if I need a repair or refurbishing?
If you need a repair or refurbishing please contact us via email at customerservice@poshmommyjewelry.com prior to shipping your items to us. Any unauthorized return will incur a charge of $10. You mush ship them in a trackable and insured package and include your order number, authorized return number, updated mailing address and contact information. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or undelivered packages. Shipping failures are unfortunate and are not reflective of the dedication we have to our customers. If you would like for us to create a label for you, we can for a charge of $9.95.

There was a mistake made on my order, what do I do?
We would like to think we are flawless but we are human and occasionally make mistakes. If you find that we made your piece different than from your original order (i.e. misspelling, wrong metal, etc.) please let us know immediately (within 30 days after it has shipped) and we will make it right. Please contact customerservice@poshmommyjewelry.com to report an error with your piece and attach a few photos.


What length is the chain for the Daddy Dog Tag?

Do you offer White Gold as an option?
Yes, we do. Please note that since only yellow karat gold is the only natural gold mined, 10K and 14K White Gold is mixed with other white alloys with yellow gold and then plated with Rhodium to give it a white appearance. This is an industry standard and is unavoidable. Perfume, makeup and lotions can cause "metallic abrasion" which is a reaction from the chemical compounds rubbing against the gold piece and will remove the plating. Skin acidity (pH level) also can remove the plating. If you know your skin is acidic, yellow karat gold is the better option for you.  


Do you offer Rose Gold as an option?
We do offer Rose Gold in 14K. It is the same cost as white and yellow. Some pieces we offer rose gold plating over sterling silver. Please note that since only yellow karat gold is the only natural gold mined, 14K Rose Gold is mixed with yellow karat gold and copper to give gold the pink color. This is an industry standard and is unavoidable. Perfume, makeup and lotions can cause "metallic abrasion" which is a reaction from the chemical compounds rubbing against the 14k rose gold piece and will leave a black or dark green dusting on your skin. Skin acidity (pH level) also can create the green dusting. If you know your skin is acidic, yellow karat gold is the better option for you.  


What is the size of the Dude Dog Tag compared to the Daddy Dog Tag?
The Dude Dog Tag was designed for children/teens however it can also be a nice smaller accessory for a woman as well. The approximate dimensions are 1 ½ inch (l) x ¾ inch.


Package pirates are bad in my neighborhood, how can I add signature required?
You can contact us immediately after you order to add signature required for a fee of $5. Your other option would be to ship it to a business address where someone will be there to accept the package.

Help! I purchased a piece from a jeweler and I am unhappy. Can you help?
Please share your concerns with your jeweler and encourage your jeweler to contact us. To maintain the relationship with our jewelers and theirs to you as a customer, it is important to us and your jeweler that you share your concerns with them. We will do our best to help but please reach out to your jeweler with your concerns and tell them they can contact us directly for a possible resolution.


Why are the prices on your site different than a jeweler?
We have our MSRPs for our brand posted on the site and jewelers may choose to follow these prices or not. They also may choose to extend offers to their customers. We cannot control the actions of a jeweler especially their prices. We will not offer refunds or credits on price discrepancies between prices posted on our website and what you pay to your jeweler.
